Department of Atomic Energy


The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) is a department with headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. DAE was established in 1954 by a Presidential Order. DAE has been engaged in the development of nuclear power technology, applications of radiation technologies in the fields of agriculture, medicine, industry and basic research. DAE comprises five research centres, three industrial organisations, five public sector undertakings and three service organisations.

Ministry of Education Government of India


The Ministry of Education (MoE), formerly the Ministry of Human Resource Development (1985–2020), is a ministry of the Government of India, responsible for the implementation of the National Policy on Education. The Ministry is further divided into two departments: the Department of School Education and Literacy, which deals with primary, secondary and higher secondary education, adult education and literacy, and the Department of Higher Education, which deals with university level education, technical education, scholarships, etc. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in school education. The current education minister is Dharmendra Pradhan, a member of Council of Ministers.

Department of Science and Technology


The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is a department within the Ministry of Science and Technology in India. It was established in May 1971 to promote new areas of science and technology and to play the role of a nodal department for organising, coordinating and promoting Scientific and Technological activities in the country. It gives funds to various approved scientific projects in India. It also supports various researchers in India to attend conferences abroad and to go for experimental works.

Graphic Era Hill University


The Graphic Era Educational Society,   established in 1993,  is a non-profit organization that aims to mobilize world class education and generate resources for providing and supporting quality education for all.  The society recognizes the right of every individual to lead a life of dignity and self-respect in a just and equitable manner.  At the initial phase Graphic Era Society established in 1997 Graphic Era Institute of Technology.  Graphic Era Institute of Technology had the distinction of being first Self- financed educational institute in North India, offer engineering courses The Institute was the culmination of the dream of its visionary founder Prof. (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala to change the destiny of thousands of youth by providing an excellent and holistic professional education. He had visualized an educational hub that would cater to academic aspirations of innumerable young man and women and his vision took a concrete shape in the form of Graphic Era Institute.

Indian Association of Physics Teachers


The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) was established in the year 1984 by the great visionary, (Late) Dr. D. P. Khandelwal, with active support from some Physics teachers, with the aim of upgrading the quality of Physics teaching and Physics teachers at all levels. It has now grown into a major organisation with about 6500 life members spread all over about 1500 organisations throughout the country including about 100 members from abroad. The members include school, college, university teachers, research workers, science administrators and science savvy enthusiasts. For its grass root working, the country is divided into 20 regions, each with a regional council. The apex excecutive council, co-ordinates and directs the effort at the national level.
